August 21, 2024This power station ran my CPAP machine with humidifier for 2 nights running 8 hours each night and still have power left over. It has a quick charge feature and Bluetooth so it I can control it with my phone. I started out with the Explorer 500 and it was not as powerful or manageable as the Explorer 1000V2. This is the best power station I've found. When camping I recharge with a EU1000i generator, and it only takes 1.5 hrs. I had it delivered to the local Home Depot with no problems.
Runs so many things! Best camping or road trip companion ever.

February 11, 2021My wife and I have an off grid camp that we primarily just spend 1-4 days at here and there. We'd been getting by without any power source and just charging up lanterns and devices before we went. But that was a pain. And they would sometimes run out early and end our trip. Wah wah. A full solar system would have been super expensive, but other portable chargers simply didn't offer enough juice for a family of 5 at a 400 sq foot cabin. Jackery 1000 to the rescue! I normally charge the Jackery at home before we go but I did buy one solar panel to charge it at the camp or in emergencies. Love that it has the option to be charged in the car as well since it takes us an hour to get there. If we ever forget to charge it, we can literally charge it on the way. We can also cook in our instant pot WHILE driving by using the jackery (make sure to stabilize both) which again is super cool for driving to friend's houses or potlucks etc. #Mindblown, right? If you're running late, throw some chicken, a brick of cream cheese, and a jar of salsa in there, grab a bag of chips and cook on the way! People will think you spent all day making taco dip. While the instant pot does draw a lot of power while it's coming up to pressure, as soon as pressure is achieved it draws little to none! I also love that we could plug our home fridge and get about 7 hours runtime in case of a power outage. I spent quite a while looking for lower wattage appliances to use with the Jackery 1000. These are my faves: 1000 watt Stariver Kettle (boils water with the Jackery in just a few mins for tea or ramen or oatmeal or mountainhouse meals), 45 watt Alpicool C20 21 quart portable refrigerator (it's a fridge or a freezer for your car or camp, 'nuff said), 1000 watt Moosoo 9-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker 6 quart (more functions than instant pot brand and works well with the Jackery - for a smaller family, consider the 3 qt size which is only 700 watts). We also use the Jackery, of course, to charge tablets, computers, phones, rechargeable fans, lights, headlamps, and lanterns - often multiple at once and it's held up like a champ! Can't wait until next summer to use it again.

March 17, 2021After months of research and reading hundreds of reviews from Amazon and watching YouTube , I finally pulled the trigger and bought my Jackery Explorer 1000 from Amazon. It powered my ICECO JP42t Pro 3-in-1 Portable Fridge-Freezer-Cooler perfectly during our recent family road trip. It started at full 100% power and after 5 continued hours of driving, the power indicator went down to 88%. I didn’t even need to plug my Jackery with the included ‘car charger cable’ to maintain its charge, as there was no available 12V power socket on my truck bed (future project). There were still plenty of power left to cook oatmeals and rice from our Zojirushi NH-06 rice cooker (300 watts); including boiling eggs and water for hot tea and instant coffee from our Proctor Silex Hot Pot (1000 watts), although all 3 appliances were not operated simultaneously. The USB chargers (2 standard USB + 2 USB-C) were more than adequate to keep our 4 iPhones, 2 iPads and 2 laptops charged for the whole trip duration. My wife teased me that I looked like a little kid with big smiles on my face having a blast tinkering with my new toy 😉. Well, I guess I cannot hide the joy I was feeling with my Jackery Explorer 1000. Although she admits, she loves the Jackery power station also. “Happy Wife, Happy Life!” I also purchased two Jackery 100W solar panels and they’re perfectly portable, easy to move around and easy to set up. Ah! the freedom from electricity grid, and enjoyment from sustained self-sufficient energy. One very satisfied customer here.

February 11, 2021The Jackery Explorer 1000 is my favorite solar generator so far. I hope they come out with a 2000 Watt version that includes all of the new features found on the updated Jackery Explorer 500. The well planned and smartly designed control panel layout of the Explorer 1000 is simply a pleasure to use. For future models, I hope they mount the lcd display on top, include a tilt display or install a tilt-back kickstand. When the Jackery is on the ground, the display is difficult to see without tilting the unit back. Since the new iPhones do not come with a USB-C charger, the Jackery’s USB-C port came in handy as my only USB-C charger. Jackery batting 1000, iPhone batting a big fat ZERO on that front. The included Solarsaga parallel Anderson to 2 DC Y adapter cable makes it easy to connect two barrel connected solar panels to the Jackery Anderson solar input. It would have been more versatile and convenient to include an MC4 to Anderson cable, with the ability to use one solar panel. That being said, the included adapter also works with two barrel-connected non-Jackery solar panels if desired. Based on the outstanding build quality of the Explorer 1000, I expect to have many years of dependable, trouble free, and pure sine wave off-grid power.
